clear skin
clear
skin is a truly wonderful little book which is packed full
of useful information and will provide you with everything
you need to achieve clear skin, naturally. The weekly menu
plans and delicious recipes featured here, which total over
50, will detox you from the inside, while the daily care advice
will show you how to cleanse effectively from the outside.
The result: clear skin.
Although primarily aimed at people whod like better
skin, especially acne sufferers who have tried conventional
medical treatments without success, or are fed up with the
side effects from harsh products or antibiotics, this book
will be beneficial for anyone who wants to be healthy and
glowing! The recipes are a nice mix of all raw and high raw,
especially suitable for those who are transitioning to a more
raw diet and would like some simple, partly-cooked vegetarian
meals to help them on their way. Most of the recipes are 80
100% raw, and smoothies and juice recipes are also
included. There are also four different weekly menu plans
and five dinner party menus. Quite a lot for a small booklet,
but all information is relevant, and the book is excellently
written and very quick and easy to read.
Contents, apart from the recipes, include: What causes acne?;
Antibiotics/Probiotics; Skin sinners & Skin savers; Fasting
& Juice cleanses; Detoxing; Exercise; Relaxation; Meditation;
Daily care; Dry skin brushing; Treating spots and scars; Home-made
skin care products; Epsom salt baths; Water and supplements;
Top ten tips for clear skin; An acne sufferer's diary of clear
skin; Useful books & web sites.
A brilliant Vitamin and Mineral Chart is also featured, showing
which raw plant foods contain which vitamin or mineral.
