alyssa’s story
About
the time I found the advice on www.acne-advice.com,
I had already decided to take myself off the Accutane and antibiotics
I took to control my acne. Even without the helpful information
from this site, I knew that the years of antibiotics and several
treatments of Accutane must have been bad for my overall health.
A little over two months ago I was in the doctor's office
trying to determine the reasons for persistent vaginal infections.
I learned from my doctor that over the course of several years'
worth of antibiotic usage my body developed resistant bacteria
and overgrown yeasts. The medications given to me for my vaginal
problems were not working and I kept having problems with
yeast and bacteria. She was the first doctor who had ever
mentioned anything to me about antibiotics doing long-term
damage to my body.
That was when I decided to weigh out the advantages and
disadvantages of the antibiotics and treatments for my skin.
I also wondered about other things that could possibly be
wrong or damaged due to the antibiotics. I had had diarrhoea
for the last six months and was very quick to get sick all
the time. My skin wasn't looking that great anyway, so I quit
my antibiotics and started researching other ways of treating
my skin and infections.
My research lead me to www.acne-advice.com,
which looked nice, but more importantly had information that
was focused on some of my biggest issues with health. The
more I read her information, the more I trusted her knowledge.
From www.acne-advice.com
I grew more and more curious about probiotics and other health
remedies. I soon began following the advice on the website
and in Clear
Skin as one last ditch effort before returning to the
doctor to save my health. I told myself and my family that
I would give this plan two or three months before seeking
other help. Even after being off the medications for only
a week, my skin had gotten very bad, I developed some red
spots on my toes, and my digestive system was still badly
messed up. People were concerned, including myself.
It has been two months since I have bought Clear
Skin and I am doing so much better. My acne has significantly
improved. I still have some redness and a few little bumps
on my cheeks and forehead, but I'm getting healthier by the
day now and looking brighter. I haven't been sick since following
the plan, I've had no vaginal problems, and my digestive system
is working properly now. The health benefits of this plan
are more than I can write about, but I will say that this
plan has changed me as much on the inside as it has on the
outside. I'm a believer in nature now, and I have taken my
money from Wal-Mart and given it to the farmers’ market
each week in exchange for vegetables. Karen's plan has not
only worked to clear my skin, but has given me an education
to help me live a better and healthier life.
I will still use doctor's help when needed, as anyone should.
But, before starting any medications, especially the miracle
drug Accutane, it is important to know side effects and long-term
damage that it may cause. Educate yourself because in the
end you have only yourself to answer to.
