Sesame and Banana Super Smoothie
Serves 2
This recipes is delicious, filling and rich in calcium and potassium, as well as the added nutrients from the Superfood and maca.
Ingredients
1 cup sesame seeds (preferably unhulled and organic)
1.5 pints still mineral water
2 bananas, chopped
6-8 medjool dates
1 Tbs Superfood powder
1 tsp maca
Directions
Soak the sesame seeds in the mineral water for at least 2 hours. Blend the water and soaked sesame seeds together, then strain through a muslin bag or stocking into a jug. Rinse out the blender and pour the sesame milk into it. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend. Serve in two tall glasses with straws.
